Fibreboard (fibreboard, hardboard) is a material obtained by hot pressing of a mass consisting of cellulose fibers, water, synthetic polymers and special additives. The raw materials for the production of fiberboard are crushed wood chips and crushed wood, and to improve the performance qualities of fiberboard, paraffin, rosin (increases moisture resistance), synthetic resins (to strengthen the board), and antiseptics are added to the wood pulp.
