The Volskcement plant's primary activity is cement production. Volskcement is part of the Holcim (Rus) CM holding company. Volsk sulfate-resistant cements are ideal for producing concretes that operate in aggressive sulfate-containing environments. These cements are indispensable in the construction of underground structures: piles, foundation elements, retaining walls, etc.

Compared to conventional Portland cements, Volsk sulfate-resistant cements have a lower heat release during hardening (2-3 times), making them suitable for the construction of large monolithic structures (dams, port berths, etc.). Volsk cements are recommended for use in conditions of repeated alternating freezing and thawing, and wetting and drying of the cement stone (50-70 cycles).
